What is the point of the RDR? Is it a charity event of some sort?

Mardi gras is safely 10-20x larger

The city did not cancel jazz fest or the red dress run. The entities did.

If you take that on face value, I'm sure that is easy to believe. If you take it along with other entities publicly stating that they, "faced extreme pressure from the city to cancel", you're just being foolish.

And that wont change this weekend based on the run itself being cancelled

I’d expect about 1/4th of the crowd lol

There will be some people out. A few small groups here & there. Crowd won’t be big though

The event itself usually has around 2,500 people

That is a pimple on the arse of the crowd that shows up in the FQ. If the crowd is less its because people make their own decisions, not the run itself being cancelled

A lot of People aren’t going to show up if it’s cancelled. Whether they sign up usually or not

The same way no one was at white linen night

Yea I mean I was did it for 15yrs or so and never signed up. I never did it on a random weekend when there was no event. It sucks for local business but there won’t be a big crowd

Heard a rumor that Queen Teedy is about to re-issue the closing of bars at 11 PM again this week.

The majority of the big crowds are from 10am-4pm. You're a fricking trooper if you can make it past that

Not really dude. Her sitting at a table maskless isnt a gotcha, her walking around a restaurant maskless is

Yes it is, it just shows the double stupidity. If someone has covid at that table it will get spread. Just because it's "the policy" doesn't make it right.

I see that picture without any masks and think it's hypocrisy after making a mask mandate. Excluding mundane situations for your own benefit doesn't make the hypocrisy any less.

Listen to yourself and how ignorant your argument is. Require masks for everyone indoors except when you are squeeze 10 people in to a 8 top. Jeez.
