So you’re saying my plan to move to New Orleans and open a boutique that sells nothing but locally sourced feminine hygiene products with fleur de lis hand painted on them isn’t a novel concept?

But is it though? Even in a pre Covid world, a one dimensional economy so heavily reliant on tourism and hospitality isn’t ideal for sustainability.

Case in point, canceling jazz fest is way more of an economic blow than it would be for Austin canceling ACL or Atlanta canceling a music festival since both of those cities have way more of a diversified economy especially with strong health care and tech sectors.
