we decided to skip fall this year

it’s not even Halloween yet and we are in the single digits, with a forecasted low of 5 degrees tonight

wind chill is near 0 at the moment

I hear Qatar is making outdoor air conditioning, but who’s making heat?

I hear ya! We got a few inches overnight here in Flathead Valley. It’s our 2nd real “snow” so far that’s made it to the Flathead. A buddy of mine drove back from Portland today and said I-90 near Lookout Pass was a stand still for truckers. Roads have been shite all day.

I think that backdrop is gorgeous.

When it’s time for me to retire or whenever I have enough cash to open my own business, it’s off to the mountain west I go. Love it up there.

This was our third in CO too. I don't think it got above 20° today and we're supposed to get another dose tomorrow. Nice night to have a fire going with a little single malt on hand.

Deal. We can send all you want as long as we can stockpile some of your cold for May-September.

So I was talking to my slightly crazy neighbor about our trip to Colorado, got back late last night. Was saying how we are really contemplating moving out west and he proceeded to tell me that we are at the start of a global cooling period. Cant remember the exact term he used but he was pointing to all the early snowfall especially in Switzerland for some reason as to proof.

If that means the mallards will start coming south again and we will get somewhat of a fall and winter than bring it on.

Yo. Most folks on this board are ecstatic just to get sub 80 highs for three consecutive days in October.
