Mainly thinking of paintings and perhaps even some small sculptures suitable for home decoration.

Doesn't have to be anything expensive. Just looking for some decent things to put into a new place.

TIA

Yeah, I literally just got back from my first time in NOLA and there seemed to be a ton on Royal just parallel to the touristy Bourbon area.

Good to know

Just trying to find some ideas for home decorations and I don't want it to be all generic shite. I'd like to get a few things that remind me of back home as well.

Arthur Roger Gallery on Julia. It is expensive though.

The ones on Royal are very expensive just because they are on Royal. Jackson square has more reasonably priced art. I'm partial to photography but my favorite NOLA photographer only has a website

I have some work by James Hussey in my home. Picked them up some years back and I'm not sure if he still has a gallery in N.O. but maybe a websearch could fill in those details.

The Art Council of New Orleans has an art show once a month at Palmer Park. It is worth a trip, next weekend is the monthly show...

it's amazing how Royal and Bourbon are a street apart and couldn't be any more different.

The Billups station on Chef Highway is where we got this family Classic in '72. Not sure if it's still there.
