Driving back to Texas with my 4 year old on Tuesday. Gonna be about a 10 hour drive with breaks so was thinking of listening to an audio book, never have. I've listed to podcasts, etc.

Any suggestions on one you've liked? Trying Audible.com and the one free book offer.

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. It's a very fun read.

I second the RPO rec. I've also listened to these books recently. I've been on an audio book kick, so these are the greatest hits of what I've listened too.

Catch Me If You Can- Frank Abignale

Decision Points- George W. Bush

Ender's Game- Orson Scott Card

The Circle- Dave Eggers

The Big Short- Michael Lewis

Moneyball- Michael Lewis

Maze Runner- James Dashner

Charlie Wilson's War- George Crile

World War Z has a great audio book

Edit: its nothing at all like the movie so even if you've seen it the book/audio book is totally different

Maybe a history or something along those lines. Catch me if you can might be one to consider...love the movie. Also like fiction stuff though like the Mitch Rapp series, etc.

Shoe Dog. The autobiography of Phil Knight. The story of Nike from it's humble beginnings is a great read/listen. It's unreal how many times Knight came to having to shut the operation down, only to become the behemoth he and Nike are now.

I agree with Ready Player One.

Hardcore History is also good for long drives.

Monster Hunter International is a fun series of books with long run times, but there's some gore and hard F bombs.
