Reason #579 why people suck: they will use your internet history to ruin you.

My son is in his first year of teaching in a local Cathoiic school. Overall he has learned a lot and done a good job in his 6 months on the job, and he has the support of the school administration. He has had to deal with some discipline problems, but not too many.
He gave a particular female student a detention (twice). Now evidently the kid's older sister, who is some sort of barista at Barnes and Noble (obviously an intellectual) has come to her defense by trolling my son's entire Facebook history and writing a letter to his principal citing some "inappropriate" posts. He got called in today about it. Needless to say, they thought his posts were harmless and they warned him to be careful, because THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE DO. I won't even go into how horrible parents have been to him when they think their snowflake has been mistreated.
People suck. God, I hate them.

I know A former music teacher that lost everything he worked for because of a spoiled little 17 yar old bitch that said he made advances toward her... He did NOT yet lost his teaching privleges.........

So sorry this happened to your son. People have to be careful nowadays.

As a teacher he needs to be careful of his Facebook posts. Best to be discreet and not let it all hang out

As a teacher his Facebook should be locked up tighter than a frogs arse.ETA I'm not blaming him in any way, just saying it wouldn't hurt.

One or two of these posts were made before he was even a teacher. He thought he has limited who could view them, but evidently he didn't apply it to past posts.

Why doesn't your son just delete his facebook account? People do suck but there seems like a simple solution here.
