As someone who has lived in the burbs my whole life, I am starting to get disillusioned with the burbs.
It is the suburbs where you find the most support for nancy state laws, karens, etc.

I have James Beard award winning restaurants serving takeout and at least a half dozen places stocking bourbon within walking distance.
Also a steady stream of 20-somethings running past in varying levels of spandex covering.
But yeah, the burbs sound awesome with kids yelling in the front yard and worrying someone is going to call 311 on you.

Yeah not me. All my friends that live in the burbs can't get instacart delivery for like a week. I can walk to my grocery store or have them drop off my groceries in a couple of hours. The only reason I occasionally go to the burbs is if Karen calls and needs a big D.

To be honest, commute is worse now that Express lanes are closed. fricking crazy arse people on the road trying to go 100 mph. I’d happily pay a few bucks to get back in the rich lane.
