Anyone else pretty much forced to get a masters? My BA is extremely reliant on one (inb4 shouldve done stem). Anyone have really good experiences getting masters in History/English/Liberal arts

Ha. Yeah instead of trying to get on to another degree you won’t o dig the hole even deeper?

College is a business decision. Maybe try going back for that instead of a masters worth toilet paper

Might be better off getting a second bachelor's in something like business or accounting.

MBA programs are becoming more open to the idea of enrolling students with a liberal arts background. Might get the most value out of a masters degree if you go that route.

Do you plan on being in academia your whole life? If so, get the masters and the PhD. If not, learn to code

And exactly what is your plan for the Masters in History and Masters in English?

Master's in Liberal Arts... hahah.

You should probably just get a real degree. A BA in something that will actually get you a decent paying job.
In the end, the degree will get you in the front door. Your actual work performance after that should be all that matters.

What do you do now? What do you want to do? What was your BA in? Where’d you go to undergrad?

Answer those questions and I’ll give you advice

I'm about to finish a post-grad degree in part because of degree creep.

They didn’t even have this in the 90s when I was in school and now it’s all anyone is talking about. I even saw they were teaching it in high school. I guess this is a product of No Child Left Behind?

They didn’t have science, tech, engineering and management?

C’mon.

Says another fricking moron.

Getting a masters in English, history or liberal arts is fricking stupid.

If you disagree - then you are also fricking stupid.

Enjoy your mediocrity.
