Friend,

If I missed your health updates to your STSS diagnosis, I am sorry, and I hope you are doing better. It appears you are. We were quite concerned for your well being, and this new news of tornados is also alarming.

lsumailman, be safe out there. I still often think about the last time I had Navy Cove oysters at Sassybass at OWA.

I noticed during my last visit to OWA Sassy had closed. Its closure was no surprise once I had your oysters there shucked by a machine rather than by hand. I hope your oyster traps will survive and this infusion of freshwater does not damage your crop. A good southeast flow, which will likely return next week, should bring back our more seasonable late June weather and salinities.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Freaking hail all south of 10 again they are saying on the news some over 1.3 inches, flooding all over. This is getting ridiculous

When Jason Smith uses words like “strange bizarre, unusual, rare and weird” on TV covering the tornado, I feel pretty confident saying it’s ducking weird. Still stuck at home so I have been watching this shite for last two hours. And I have lived on gulf coast for 50 years, and no you haven’t seen a water spout stop for an hour come on shore and then go back into the bay, and completely change directions 3 times. I doubt anyone has.

Tulane, thanks for your comment. I am still stuck at home but getting better daily. Have good days and bad days but slowly getting better.

Flash Flood Emergency Warning: Causeway is flooding right, power outages popping up all over now for those that need to know. The roads that typically flood are probably already under water.

Reporting road closures all around South Mobile County around Bellingrath area rn. Jason Smith just said reports of so many closures in that area just no way to safely get into that part of county rn. Hail reported around Grand Bay, inch or so in size.

Damn the Emergency Warning TV system just went off again.

Cars are going to start flooding out everywhere, they just reported sone areas are reporting 10 inches of rain today already.
