I remember reading somewhere that actors love doing commercials and voiceovers. The commercials are usually shot in one day and a lot of the time they come to the actor to do the shot. Quick and easy half-million or more.
And with voiceovers, they can usually do it at a local booth in just a few days. Some actors even have the booths set up in their homes.

Yeah I remember yrs ago when it was a big no-no to do US commercials, but they would do them overseas. Like Japan. Now it seems to be no big deal. Quick money i'm sure.
One that cracks me up is that model that does the Depends (or whatever) commercials. Ha.

oh yeah, remember that well, A-list movie stars would try to act like their all purists, and loyal to their craft, dissed actors on tv, and you'd go to Japan or China and see Richard Gere on a billboard hawking hemorrhoid meds, or Julia Roberts pushing underarm deodorant, etc.
