I can assure you every restaurant in the French Quarter or anyplace with old buildings have rats. They have to trap them because they aren’t allowed to poison.

You sure? I was in the to go line at Cafe Du Monde one time and there’s this little “flower bed” along that retaining wall/MS River levee, and that little flower bed looked like a damn mass grave for rats. I just assumed they were poisoned.
