Is this the place with the triangle pizza?

Because of the downvotes I’m guessing it’s not. What’s the name of the place with triangle pizza?

WTF? Past Time is all nostalgia, the Pizzas, Burgers, Poboys are all meh.

it seemed so crazy to me that fleur de lis did not try to capitalize on the brewery when it opened up.

It’s pretty obvious the last Fleur de Lis owners couldn’t spell business much less run one successfully.

LOL. To all the old Fleur de Lis regulars here. Do you remember the "Absolutely no Fu*kin substitution policy" "We don't care if your girlfriend doesn't like olives" "She's gonna like olives tonight or NO PIZZA FOR YOU"

Hyperbole (AKA bullshite).

My standard order for decades was “Large round the World , no olives and no fish.”

They never batted an eye and made it as ordered. Some of y’all are having Mandela Effect moments with your seething hatred of the place.

I hope they succeed, and help the Government Street corridor achieve what was envisioned for it a couple of years ago, with many restaurants and businesses all along the length of it.

Only an idiot would prefer and cheer for an empty space as opposed to a thriving business.

I wish them nothing but good luck and great success in this endeavor.

Oh Lord! This is gonna make Joshrn, and Louisiana lady's day (among others).

Why do some of you struggle so much with my username?

I’m pleased that the building has sold (this is relatively old news, by the way; it has been under contract for over six months and was simply moving slowly due to rezoning). I was torn when that initial article said they were planning a pizza concept. I cringed a bit when this article came out. With that said, hopefully they lean into the physical nostalgia of the property and, unlike FDL, put out good pizza with good service.

Passed by that place a hundred times when I was at LSU, never stopped once. Then in the early 90's my wife, sister and her boyfriend stopped there after playing golf at the Bluffs. One of the waitresses was my wife's niece working there while going to LSU. Decent pizza with a cool old school vibe, kinda like Pastimes. PSA. Don't whistle at the old bartenders at Pastimes for service.

“Around the World”

I'm usually just a pepperoni pizza guy. But I have to admit, this is the only place that I really loved this pizza. It just seemed like a perfect blend of ingredients. And I NEVER get anchovies on a pizza, but would get a light order on this one, and for some reason it was perfect, baked in with the others. And a side of the cheese you sprlnkle on.

And any left overs would heat up in the over at home, and taste just like it came out the oven there.

I certainly get that it's not the place for everyone. It's not close traditional pizza. And I think it's part nostalgia, because I grew up in BR my entire life. But damn, an Around the World, light anchovies, and a cold beer, was heaven for me.
