LAKE JACKSON, TX (KPRC/CNN) – A group of rappers were recording a video dressed as bank robbers Sunday when police arrived, thinking there was a real robbery going on. Rap artist Tru Keezy and his musical partner decided to try to shoot a rap video at a credit union. They dressed as bank robbers, wearing black face masks and carrying real guns.

Keezy admits the idea was bad, but he says it was done for good reasons. The rappers say they are eternally grateful to the police.

The big bad police were just discriminating on those hard working black males trying to make money.

They are very lucky they were not killled by armed civilians. Within the last 10 years or so, Lake Jackson had the highest number of CC permits per person, in the USA.

What gets me is these rappers i.e. Kendrick Lamar et al complain about a disproportionate number of blacks being incarcerated, and yet their "music" glorifies many of the reasons so many are incarcerated.

Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

Wouldn't "hilarity ensues" be more appropriate as opposed to "humility ensues"?

Exactly, dumbasses dress and talk just like the rappers who rap about doing all this illegal shite then when they get pulled over or questioned on the street, they are dumbfounded as to why. Its unbelievable to me.

Is it really? These people (especially if we're talking Lake Jackson) are about a level above mongoloid and a smidgeon below neanderthal when it comes to critical thinking skills.

I thought that the humbling comments by the rappers presented an opportunity to put a twist on the usual "hilarity ensues."

I'm just glad that no one was hurt and I don't think any charges were pressed. I'm trying to confirm whether Tru Keezy is a starter on the Alabama football team.

Do you speak to black people with your tongue because you are racist based on this post.

Geto Boys - My Mind Playing Tricks On Me

I sit alone in my four-cornered room staring at candles
Oh that shite is on? Heh
Let me drop some shite like this here, real smooth

At night I can't sleep, I toss and turn
Candle sticks in the dark, visions of bodies bein' burned
Four walls just starin' at a ****
I'm paranoid, sleepin' with my finger on the trigger
My mother's always stressin' I ain't livin' right
But I ain't going out without a fight
See, everytime my eyes close
I start sweatin', and blood starts comin' out my nose
It's somebody watchin' the Ak'
But I don't know who it is, so I'm watchin' my back
I can see him when I'm deep in the covers
When I awake I don't see the motherfricker
He owns a black hat like I own
A black suit and a cane like my own
Some might say, Take a chill, be
But frick that shite! There's a **** trying to kill me
I'm poppin' in the clip when the wind blows
Every twenty seconds got me peepin out my window
Investigatin' the joint for traps
Checkin' my telephone for taps
I'm starin' at the woman on the corner
It's fricked up when your mind is playin' tricks on ya...
