first time seeing automatic winding watches?

You set and wind them when you put them on.

That wall o watches is quite impressive.

But I wonder, at what point does the number of things you collect diminish the “specialness” of each thing?

I tend to obsess over something and will research and review and spend hours deciding on what I want. By the time I buy it I know practically everything about it. And it becomes very special to me.

I’ve got 6 watches, and each one is like that. None of them are as high end as stuff a lot of y’all wear, but each one fits a specific interest or niche for me.

If I had that whole wall, would I really CARE about any of them like I do my 6?

Dunno…

WTF? TP in the laundry room? That's like storing detergent in your bathroom.

I think what he’s saying is that his hobby is more expensive than mine. Which that is almost certainly true. The average model kit costs around $50-$75. I have no idea what he spends on the average watch, but I’d bet is more than what I spend on the average model.

Yeah that's not me. just saw the pile of boxes and it reminded me of that story I saw recently.

Basically like "what is that guy's wife thinking?"

to respond to all asking, we have a closet in the laundry room where we store our Costco bundle of both TP and paper towels.

and I am unsure why that would be a problem.

truth!

Men are definitely guilty of complicating the shite out of our tech stuff. It's a weakness we have had since we ripped the first stock stereo out of our POS Toyota Terdcel and dropped in an Alpine.

We can't help ourselves. It's our version of throw pillows

I divorced one where the random became the norm. Watch out because it’s hard to tell where that line is.

I used to mock her when she went on tirades. Like singing, “crazy” by patsy cline or ozzies crazy train. I’d also suggest not doing that.

I like it on top - but some ppl don’t

What someone prefers is the ‘correct’ way

And yes, I will change all the rolls so they’re fed from the top

You should tell her to calm down and start thinking rationally.

Do this by speaking very SLOWLY so she will understand you.

This always works in my household.
