Incorrect. That's what tolerance looks like to that one guy. Generalizations really limit learning and growth

Right. All the people on this website who were rooting for RBG to die were progressives I'm sure.

And when Rand Paul was the only Senator to vote against the Coronavirus funding because the Senate refused to cut $8 billion from other programs to fund the assistance, the blue checks on Twitter were wishing his neighbor assaulted him again.

I feel more people liked and respected Rand about 10 years ago on the poli board when libertarians were cool and edgy during the Obama years.

The left despise libertarians more than the right, because at the end of the day, most leftists worship the state. They see government as a force for good and not as a violent monopoly used to crush the individual spirit.

Paul said some things bad about Trump so he became evil to both sides of booger eaters.

People make opinions based on sheer emotion.

When exactly is test effective to detect virus including on asymptomatic patients that stay that way?

Certain number of days after exposure?
It doesn't appear to have to show symptoms, but i also think asymptomatics have it so mild they probably thought it was allergies or just run down.

Statist are programmed by rich old people to do their bidding. They've bought into this myth that we're all in this together.

They get very angry if you criticize their secular god.

The two parties and the overwhelming majority of the mouthbreathers who support them remind me of the crowds at Versailles when Louis XIV proclaimed: "l'etat cest moi." They want to be ruled by an autocrat, be it a Clinton, a Bush, an Obama or a Trump.

He's one.

Funny, the left used to value individual civil liberty, now they hate those who champion it.

Man if this thing takes Rand Paul from us...

one of the few politicians with consistent views, even if it pisses everyone off. I respect him a lot.

Don't be a hypocrite. Go tell the posters in this thread the same.

That's BS for a lot of people voting Republican most of the time. Trump is not necessarily liked by either establishment. He was definitely part of both at times, but he didn't run that way and has shown to be independent more than others you list. Most Republicans I know aren't party first people, but Democrats don't give them much of a choice by who gets nominated. In 2016 top 2 for Republican nomination were not liked by Republican establishment/elites, but none of their candidates were liked much by Republican voters including a Bush.

Libertarian nominate a bunch of nobodies or nut jobs that no Republican wants to vote for and help a leftist Democrat win, and libertarians just act like its everyone else. Johnson came across as weird and more supportive of Iran than Israeli not neutral ("what is Aleppo?" and couldn't name a world leader & in 2 years he finished 3rd in 2018 NM Senate race). Weld as VP was an establishment Republican left of center on several things who just ran because he was a never trumper. Libertarians supporting Weld sold out their precious ideals and their own belief on others just wanting to be ruled.

They also come across weak not just isolationists on foreign policy and on border control, and many can't fathom there are 2 lives involved in abortion. Outside of those Libertarian beliefs are generally pretty good for a national govt like ours, but don't work as well at state and local levels therefore don't have any building blocks to show anything accomplished for national or Federal races where their ideas fits best. I think Libertarian Party members like to think they know best and are ok sitting back never winning elections and then having to actually prove it, so horrible candidates get nominations because no one else wants to make an effort they know will likely lose.

The problem with the Libertarian Party is the Libertarian Party and its members. They like their status quo just as much the the Ds and Rs they complain about.
