Uh, which is it? Are you in North Dallas or SW of Ft Worth?

It rained a bit here in The Colony. Not enough to do much but every little helps some I guess.

We aren't East Texas, we sure aren't West Texas, so here 50 miles SW of FW we must still be in North Texas.

That’s more central Texas than northern Texas.

we had a pretty decent line of weather come through between 10-11:30pm, I was south of the DFW airport around 10, got home around 10:30(Keller,) and it was a nice shower for a little while, we could use a lot more

more lightning than rain, but it was welcomed, just got my TCEC bill this morning $666, appropriate because it's been hot as the devil, highest I've had here in 18 years

I have never heard this area referred to as Central Texas. We are sometimes considered as part of the Metroplex, but I reject that characterization.

Left Choctaw around 11 after the concert and it rained all the way back to Fort Worth. It was glorious.

This my friends is what is generally considered North Texas. Hood County, where I am situated, is right in the middle and is located southwest of Tarrant County (Fort Worth).

You all can thank me - I used a sprinkler on a hose for a couple of hours late yesterday to hit spots my sprinkler system wasn’t hitting.

This weekend is a good time to put out pre-emergent for cool weather weeds.

That map is just silly. I don’t think anyone would consider counties like San Saba and Lampasas as North Texas.
