Rae Carruth will be getting out of jail- wants custody of the son he tried to kill

Just when you think he couldn't be a bigger POS, he decides to prove you wrong.
He tried to kill his son before he was even born. He planned an ambush where his pregnant (7 months) gf would be trapped and shot to death. But she lived long enough to call 911 and tell them what happened, who did it and where she was.
She suffered great blood loss and Chancelor was deprived of oxygen before he could be born. He has brain damage and CP but he survived and has been raised brilliantly by his maternal grandmother.
Rae has never shown any interest in Chancellor or shown any remorse for his action. But now he thinks when he gets out that he can get custody of Chancellor (who is now 18 but disabled, needing full time care)?
Chancellor owns a custom built house and has a trust fund. Rae is worth about $10,000 total.
I think we can all see what motivates Rae here. he wanted Chancellor killed because he did not want to pay child support and he never has. But now he thinks Chancellor should support him I guess.

I remember this story being posted before. My take was that the grandmother seemed like a remarkable lady and chancellor seemed like a happy kid who beat terrible odds. Op is correct in that rae carruth has proven he's an even bigger pos after this new article if that was possible.
