Romanian TVee has a hilarious take on the issue but also raises a great point. How much of the student debt is spent by these university "scientists" wasting their time on social issues rather than doing their actual jobs, in this case actually studying birds.

They are renaming one bird who was named after Merriweather Lewis. Yes, that guy from Lewis and Clark. Lewis never did anything controversial even by today's standards. He didn't own slaves and even advocated for Native Americans. He was a member of Thomas Jefferson's cabinet. It's not like he was some rando slave owner who had shite named after him. Lewis is an American icon.

But it’s still less than the time they waste meeting bullshite accreditation standards designed solely to keep a team of bureaucrats employed. That’s hands down the number 1 supply-side driver of runaway college costs
