R. Kelly breaks his silence on sexual abuse claims: "I have been assassinated"

R. Kelly said the parents of the two young women he is accused of holding against their will 'sold' them to him when they were teenagers in an explosive interview where he yelled, cried and protested his innocence on child rape charges.
R. Kelly clearly demonstrates that he is a victim in this CBS interview
"R. Kelly is breaking his silence in an explosive interview about the sexual abuse charges that landed him in jail last month. The embattled R&B singer spoke with "CBS This Morning" co-host Gayle King for nearly 80 minutes Tuesday, saying all the women now accusing him of physical and sexual abuse are lying."
What type of publicist (#1) would allow this guy to go on national TV, (#2) be interviewed by a female; and (#3) think that this would be in any way help his case?
"I am surprised that you agreed to do it. Why are you sitting down with us today?" King asked the singer.
"I'm very tired of all of the lies. I've been hearing things, and you know, and seeing things on the blogs, and you know, you know, I'm just tired," Kelly said.
"What are the lies that you're hearing that disturb you most?" King asked.
"Oh my God. Um – all of them, got little girls trapped in the basement… helicopters over my house trying to rescue someone that doesn't need rescuing because they're not in my house," he said, adding, "Handcuffing people, starving people. I have a harem, what you call it – a cult. I don't even really know what a cult is. But I know I don't have one."
This photo alone screams innocence to me! Just look at how R. Kelly is controlling this situation.
I am glad his publicist was on hand for this PR disaster so he could hold R. Kelly back from beating the shite out of Gayle.

Stunned, King asked: 'Who did that?'
'How come it was okay for me to see them until they wasn't getting no money from me?
'Why would you take your daughter -- if I were going to take my daughter and she's 19 years old to a 49-year-old icon whatever, celebrity, R. Kelly concert, whoever it is, I'm not going to put her on the stage and leave her.
'I'm going to take her to the concert.'
'Their father is more into my music and knew about my music than they do,' he said.
What kind of father, what kind of mother would sell their daughter to a man?

He replied: 'Absolutely. Are the cameras still going? Absolutely.'
Elsewhere in the interview, Kelly denied having sex with underage girls and said he never focused on how much younger than him his girlfriends are, just that they are 'legal'.
'I don't look at much younger than me, I just look at legal. I just look at you're you and I am me.
'Now I don't know if you're married, I don't know one might be older than the other, one might be younger than the other. I just look at legal, OK.
'There are older men who like younger women and older women who like younger men.
'I am an older man who loves all women,' he said, adding that he knew men who had 'five or six women'.

If I was SNL, or any similar type of show..I'd pay Dave Chappelle anything he wants to host, or to co-host the show as his R Kelly impersonation.
