No, she doesn't make any special preparations of her pubic area for the gyno. She does some regular maintenance already.
She does refuse to have the sex the night before her gyno appointment though. I've never understood that.

Same here... my wife has had several anatomy classes (pre-nursing), but based on her time being pregnant and other comments she's made over the years, I feel like she doesn't actually understand how a vagina works, which is weird, since she has one.
ETA: Felt like I needed to add in the last phrase before the "because you're married to a man" comments started.
