You claim to be a fitness expert but yet you think 6ft 216 is 40 pounds overweight for someone that lifts and has a lot of muscle mass that’s clearly not the case, but you wouldn’t know anything about that now would you?
I know 10% of Americans have a gym membership and not being obese will soon be the minority in this country. I know obesity is linked to poverty, and I know louisiana is more fat and poor than almost every other state.
I know most of the posters here brag about how much they can eat and drink and not go to the gym.
Yet, I'm the idiot for assuming a 6' 215 lb looks more like a slob than Alvin Kamara. Makes sense.

Allen Iverson was 6’ - 167 at the NBA combine. This is a pic from his rookie year.

You’re the one that made a generalization about 216 @ 6ft being 40 pounds overweight. You lose all credibility when you go by the BMI scale without looking at any other factors

quote:This is how fat people justify their laziness and poor decisions.
Let's do the math:
Me: 365 enjoyable days a year, or 3,650 in a decade.
You: 156 (3x52) enjoyable days a year... or 1,560 in a decade.
3,650 - 1,560 = 2,090 enjoyable days that I gain over you, per decade.
Your extra 12 years will yield a grand total of 1,872 enjoyable days.
But I've already lapped you.
So, in the end, I got more enjoyable days than you

You enjoy being out of shape simply to justify you being able to eat what you want?

Because generally (as in over 90% of the time) that's correct.

Looks scrawny. He was also a 20/21 year old kid
Mingo showed Chris Paul at nearly 40

I was 235 lb 10 years ago. I’m 6’3”, so not great but decent for my age. Have an office position and just got lazy and slowly let it build up over the years.
Then, about a year and a half ago, Mom got sick, then Dad fell ill. Lost them both last Fall six weeks apart. I was drinking damn near every night for a year. And eating horribly.
By the end of January, I was 330 lb. Felt awful, legs would swell, got the apnea, and started to worry. Got my shite together first week of February and I am down to 240 lb. Want to get 10 more off.
Whenever we get back to the office, no one will know who I am (also shaved my full beard I have had for over 10 years).

There’s not a thing Mingo is wrong about in this thread except CP3 isn’t 175 in that picture.
As far as the calories per decade and people being lazy - he’s spot on.

With that said, Yes most people in that boat are probably more chunky dudes. But Id even say that youd have to have very minimal muscle to look like a complete slob at those measurements.

I wasn’t arguing, just showing you another example. Iverson was cut up, but slender. And definitely 6-0 at best.

I’m 38 years old 5’9” and weigh 165. I eat whatever I want but in “moderation” the key word that no one has touched on which goes to show you the stark reality of why all y’all are fat asses. If you clean your plate at any restaurant you’re eating way too much.

A lot of posters, especially in S. Louisiana, are very ignorant when it comes to health and/or body composition.

Most people im around know how to file a corporate tax return, i don't assume most people can because that would be a ridiculous line of reasoning.

Most people havent lifted a weight since high school

I would rather have 1,000 steak dinners than 2,000 smoothies.

We’re on the same page bud. I dont really think anything me and you have both said are wrong, but you threw out a generalization and I explained there are variables to your scale. But you didnt argue that, you just said MOST people who are 6feet 215lbs considered overweight and yes, that is 100% true.
Also, congrats Wareaglepete. You added many years back onto your life. Good shite.

You can have 2000 steak dinners, just dont have a potato loaded with sour cream and cheese and dessert and a bottle of wine. Steak is one of the best health foods
