I have had their service for a little over a year and I pick to get the New Orleans locals when I signed up and have had the whole time, suddenly switched to Baton Rouge local stations. No big deal, I was just as to why my locals changed?

Anyone with YouTube TV ever have this happen?

If you log into youtubetv on the web you can adjust your local Market in settings.

That’s not happened to me and I’ve had for 2 years. Do you live in NO or BR?

Ponchatoula, so roughly the same distance to both. Spectrum Cable here has both NOLA and BR station and you can pick up both with a over the air antenna. Yeah I set my locals when I signed up, I was curious if this has happened to anyone else. The locals just switching on their own.

I switched because Dish kept going up and in the one year I had it the price has went up 20 dollars I think.

It's okay... I have Prime, Peacock and borrow someone's HBOMax.

Seriously... what's your draw to YTtv? Is it a sports thing?

I think Youtubtv is the best streaming service, but they like to raise their prices to often.

It just depends on your area. I had AT&T internet before and it wasn't very good at the end of the dead road I live on. I despise Spectrum but is the best available in my area so that is what I have. I have never tried AT&T for TV and I haven't anything good about from anyone around here, but again I am sure it just depends in the area you live in.

What zip code did you use during setup. Check your settings.
I use it when out of town for work and it just picks up the local channels of where I’m at. Guess it may just link to the closest market.

Yeah, they seem to have the best sports package available. It is very very customizable and has unlimited DVR storage. I always DVR tons of stuff that I never have time to watch

Love your screen name, I laugh every time I see it. You have it right we don't own our dogs they own us

Thank you- I am beyond pleased at my role in life as Sally's human. Of all the hats I wear, that's the one that "wears me"

I used Ponchatoula-70454

I am probably just going to roll with it like it is now. As long as it doesn't mess with the ball games I get it doesn't really matter. I did watch ch. 2 WBRZ news awhile ago for the first time in many many years and they have a weather man that appears to be about 12 years old

Your ISP is showing an IP address that ties you to being located in BR and not Nola. As said you can reset it to be correct (or make a 5 minute call to YouTube if necessary) to get it fixed but it's probable the problem will reoccur

My ISP thinks I live in Arkansas (the horror) for some reason, I called YouTube and had it fixed 2-3 times but I don't really care about locals and finally just left it as it was. I only watch locals for sports which I get anyways or severe weather coverage which I can get through apps, etc.

I went back to cable a few years ago. Streaming isn't worth it anymore. I just call Spectrum every year or so and try to cancel snd they cut me a rate.

This is how I have had Sirius/XM for years for five bucks or less a month.

Agreed! Recently threatened to cancel via chat and got a 6 month or so discount. Their first offer was weak 1 or 2 months. Nice feature is you can put it on hold for something like 6 months and keep your DVR stuff when resumed. We cancelled over past few late spring & summers.

I work for YTV and can answer your question. We based it off your google search profile. BTR advertisers were looking to penetrate into the LGBTQXZ+ market so we switched some gays into the BTR local market.
