"Cases" are meaningless. Most ppl don't realize were sick. So "cases" are a function of testing.
Ppl need to get infected.
It's a matter of who gets infected.
So long as younger <60 and not frail ppl it's zero issue.

We will keep this mother fricker shut down until suicides due to the economy outnumber coronavirus deaths. And not assumed suicides, but verified with suicide letters specifically stating the cause.

One thing I've noticed among my employees is a direct correlation between giving a damn about Coronavirus and sucking at one's job.

I'm not in the firm "keep it shut down" crowd, but I'm probably more moderate than most on here.
I live in an area with a large outbreak, due to proximity to NY/NJ.
Golf courses have reopened, but you can't share a cart. That is reasonable to me.
I just drove past a place called Longwood Gardens. They are closed. It is an outdoor garden. This, I don't understand. Why couldn't people walk around outside, as long as they keep safe distances?
My friend owns a marina. They are open. You can go out on your boat. You can't hang out on dock or raft up to other boats. This seems reasonable.
My issue is that all people need to be reasonable in order for these things to work. And to me, it seems like people are more interested in exerting their own freedom than behaving in a way that will keep others safe.

In my opinion the ones that want to keep it shut down are either still working or their unemployment was more than their income.
I still have a job (sales), but my income has been adjusted by about 18% (April, not sure about May) - I’m thankful to have a job.

Biggest supporters of keeping it closed are those working from home and those making more on UI than working.
Linear thinkers also buy into this because they aren't creative , and see no real options except the most logical.
