I used to be one who said that square-toes were just trendy and that pointed-toe were the only correct option. However, over the past few years I've changed my perspective, and my square-toe Ariats are the favorite boots I have.

Same here, I'm converted. I wore square toe Ariats today.

I just recently got Ariats. Love them. Comfortable. I still use my shite Justin's at work though

I think you miss the point. Do. Not. Give. A. frick. About. Fashion. They are comfortable. They feel good to wear. They are apparently not for pussies like you, who only care about fashion, much like most women.

You strike me as a non-English comprehending girly man.

Was browsing sheplers last night and it's crazy the small amount of round toe boots that they carry, and the ones they do are more work boot types. I wear my round toe Ariats probably 6 days of the week and I finally think it's time for a new pair after about 5 years. I guess I'm gonna have to go with square toe and deal with it.

I have one pair of ostrich square toes for dress. Wife wanted me to be more modern and fashionable. They've grown on me

These are the ones I'm looking at. Pretty good looking pair of boots for $200. I also like the Justin Bent Rail line

Ariat Cowhand

I've seen those and always get a good chuckle. The stock picture is a guy running in them trying to rope a calf.

Mine are exactly the same, but I wear cowboy boots, I don't have any experience with Sperry's (I am straight).

2 inches will do it. Do not get boot cuts jeans or else they will cover way too much of your boot and will piss you off. You need straight or tapered legs.

Sans-a-Belts are the only way to go for cowboy boots.

That's a performance type boot designed for a rodeo cowboy. I see what they are trying to do. Ive roped a bunch of cattle and strapped a bunch of bulls and I cant ever remember thinking that having a different boot would have given me more of a competitive advantage

Wrangler makes a boot cut that fits boots right, but straight leg works fine.

Tapered leg will ensure you look like someone who has never been off concrete
