Question, arming the citizens of war torn countries.

Since the USA doesn’t have room for hundreds of millions of refugees, would arming their citizens help them in their plight?It helps our country to deter invading foreigners and possible dictators. Just asking...

Generally speaking, in most of those countries, whichever group can gain control of those guns will, almost always, subjugate the others. That would carry on the cycle and lead them and us, or some other world policing country right back to square one.

I'm 2A as frick, but it has become clear over the last few months that many of our gun-owning citizens will give the government backup when it comes down to it.

It's a good business to be in. Make money by arming certain groups, then those groups become a national security "threat", you sell more materiel to the government, and then a new batch crops up. Repeat ad infinitum.
