Question about that old time road song.

Not music related... Just wondering when they decide to make a rap / country and western combo song how do these guys get paired up? I would imagine these rappers and hayseeds don't naturally just run in the same circles and have jam sessions like we used to donit back in the day.

I think the rap version came out first. Really just some random dude I think and he got a lot of views. I am sure the country baws saw a chance to capitalize so they joined up and it went mainstream.

Regardless on genre.
Best part about that song is the music video where the rapper thinks he can two step having never done it.
He crossed himself up, looks down at his feet, realized it does take a little rhythm After all.
