? The pressure to the fuel system comes from injecting air into the tank and not from the fuel pump pumping it into the system? Wtf kinda shite is this?

The whole system is under pressure when operating properly
But it could be a few different issues.

Do you always fill the car up long after the pump has clicked off?

Most likely your purge valve.

Purge valve problems
The most common problem with the purge valve is when it sticks or does not close fully. This may cause the "Check Engine" warning light to come on. In some cars, a stuck-open purge valve can cause difficulty starting right after refueling at a gas station: for the first few seconds the engine may run rough and stumble. Purge valve problems are common in many cars.

Is that just specific to that particular car that I’m not familiar with? For example, my ford truck doesn’t even come with a fuel cap. And no vehicle or equipment that I have seen in the past 30-40 years pressurizes a fuel tank in order to facilitate fuel flow to carbs or injectors. I do see it on smaller motors, but in most of those cases, the pressure is used to operate a pump or siphon, and not to put pressure on the tank. Now, I’m not a mechanic, and this is why I ask. But I do do 100% of all my work on my equipment and the vast majority on our vehicles and pressurizing of a fuel tank instead of a fuel pump is not only something I’ve never seen, it’s contrary to what should happen. At least in my knowledge, which admittedly, may be limited in scope to yours.

What happened to the part that sounded like the starter was continuing to spin after you released the key?
Is it just harder to crank after you fill up? What if you add $5 of fuel? Is it still hard to start?
I'll try to help, but I'll need good info. I promise I won't troll too much...having your ride acting up es no bueno...I don't want you stressing about whether you'll be walking, baw.

I was going to say a vacuum system issues, but Im really couldnt follow the OP
The engine turning over and over is probably just a result of you having "bump start" and it's not really a symptom of anything other than the car won't start.
