Oh hell yeah, it’s going to be bigger. Much much bigger. This is probably the single death in the past century that will be most attended. The only ones I don’t expect to see there are the Russians and North Koreans. Everyone else will be there though.

No way the New Iberians will be there.

King Charles just doesn’t sit right with me.

Nonetheless, what a life she has lived. We should’ve known she wouldn’t last long without Phillip.

Can we send Biden over for the US representative and hope what ever she had rubs off on him as he smells her hair in the casket.

I agree. Someone should tell the Saud dynasty to knock it off.

Can we send Queen LaToya over there as well?

I'll pay for her upgrade

I remember reading somewhere that people close to the royals thought Charles might abdicate the crown to William. Hopefully he does because i could see Charles being rebellious and tearing down the monarchy.

Depends on where it's coming from. I don't get the obsession with the intrigue. I don't care about their personal indiscretions, etc.

I do think she was an incredible witness to history. I don't have any special interest in the family, but even in the diminished form of the monarchy, I can only imagine what it's like at Balmoral, pretty amazing stuff. To think about how it was for her in a genuinely prior era taking the crown, that's a different level altogether.

And for the British who like or at least respect the concept of the monarchy, it's a constant in their lives now gone. I can appreciate that. I was surprised how much personal anguish I felt watching Notre-Dame burn, just because it represented history and it might be lost. I imagine for some of the British this is kind of like that even if they don't really recognize the monarchy in any substantive way.

I always got the impression that she was a very nice lady. Despite her wealth and privilege, she always believed that her duty was to serve her people. RIP Your Majesty.

Long live King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Try not to frick it up.

It’s only 70 years. There are plenty people that are over 70 years old in this country.

Biden will stay home and not attend services because, you know, climate change and environmental impact of travel?

She was truly an amazing individual

Im not ashamed to say im a bit sad/depressed by this

But she is reunited with Phillip, the love of her very long life, and certainly her time for eternal rest has come.
