As I said in one of the other threads, I really don't think people are "pro Putin" as much as they just don't like seeing an American leader look so weak. So they make comparisons. Some of you act like posters here are submitting applications to be in the Spetsnaz.

Also, I think part of it is that Putin has a bit of the Trump over the top type personality that is just funny to laugh at sometimes. He's mildly entertaining with some of the stuff he does and says.

I know he's not squeaky clean, but some of you need to start understanding there's a method to his madness. By stepping up to the plate, when Obama has repeatedly backed down, Putin is creating alliances. They won't all pay off, but in the end Russia will probably benefit from what he's doing - in trade agreements and so forth, which his country desperately needs.

He doesn't have Trumps braggadocio, but he is very straightforward. He says what he means, and does what he says.

You do realize Russia has an open door policy to all people from former Soviet countries many of which are not Russian. This is to increase the country's population bc the death rate among ethnic Russians, especially males is alarming.

And yet you complaining about it in an unoriginal meme of the moment response seem even more of a bitch.

I don't think anyone would rather have Putin as a leader of this country. Obviously Russia has its issues. But what is "refreshing" is that when Russia is fully engaged in "war" with ISIS, you get the feeling they'll be less politically correct about it. They'll stoop down to a level that you kind of want to, but as Americans, we never would. Take the reports of white phosphorus use for example. We wouldn't use it as a chemical agent, but when you hear of those shite bags burning up after they kill hundreds of innocent people it makes you feel good inside.

People like that Putin can do stuff like that. I don't think anyone truly idolizes him. It's like the kid down the street who's parents let him do anything. He seemed like the coolest. But in reality he turned into an alcoholic moron who doesn't have his shite together. But it is still kinda cool that he got to do what he wants.
