This whole shite show that the Bitch is pulling today is nothing more than a smoke show. He doesn't want to address the real incompetence at the top so he's just going to continue to throw people under the bus.

And the outgoing sewage and water board executive retires in November with $175,000 a year pension.

I send my resume to what email?

I can say without any semblance of doubt that I could bring a level of competency to the board that would remedy these issues without raising the department's budget.

Mitch has lost complete control of crime. Social services. And now municipal services

He needs to resign.

But would you have the power to rid yourself of the do-nothing staffers forced upon you because of who they know or blow?

As with all politicians, it's not whether you're right or wrong, it's how you place the blame

The sad part is that the only thing keeping NOLA alive are key infrastructure components like these pumps yet Mitch claims he knows nothing of the status of the very arteries of his city. That's very telling.

Very alarming statement from the acting head and president of the Sewage and Water Board.

This is all in Mitch's master crime fighting plan. Flood out the criminals, highly educated folks move back in and raise the property values to keep out ....let's see...how the OT puts it... "the culture."

This would be a prerequisite to my acceptance. I either have the power to remove unwanted influences by executive power, or a means of ridding them via write-ups and suspensions for under-performance.

I've walked into a new office before, and sat back for two weeks to observe. I would then meet-up with HR the following Monday and decipher the company's course of action for quality assurance amongst the staff. IMO, an HR dept is there for more than just handling conduct and working on the "employee handbook".

yep. Especially the "live there" part. I guess visiting the touristy parts for perhaps 2 or 3 days is okay; but otherwise, gtfo of that place

Wish I had the power to hire you.

Incompetence starts at the top and has been going on for way too long.

As I said in the other thread:

Ask the current acting head and president of the Sewage and Water Board: Mitch Landrieu.

Or

The mayor of the city: Mitch Landrieu

Or

The man responsible for ensuring the companies in charge of cleaning and maintaining the pumps are doing their jobs: Mitch Landrieu.

Or

The guy who is in charge of making sure the funding is available for these massive projects: Mitch Landrieu

Or

Tthe Lieutenant Governer of Louisiana after Katrina who oversaw these projects: Mitch Landrieu

Or

The Representative for the 89th and 90th districts to the Louisiana State Legislature from 1988-2004: Mitch Landrieu

Here come the country bumpkins and suburbans.

Some people like sidewalks, no ditches in front of their house, street lights, and a place to grab a burger or go to the store without haven't to drive forever to get there and back.
