Exactly. Like ketamine. That started as a treatment for profound depression. Like “if I leave here I’m gonna blow my head off ASAP”. So clinics became clinics for everything because there was money to make. So every housewife with anxiety can have a shot. Now there’s microdose monthly plans all over social media.

I feel that’s where it’s headed here if it actually moves forward with Ibogaine and whatever else. People with $$$$ are already going to Costa Rica for retreats. Follow the $$$!

Eventually shortcuts will be taken. Like shitty clinics who let people leave too soon or like giving Chandler Bing a vial of ketamine to take home and use while alone in a hot tub.

So a great treatment for those with mental illness is to detach them from reality. Got it.

While they could have tremendous benefits, any mind-altering substances are inherently difficult to study under current research standards (double-blind, randomized controlled trials), because the participants are bound to know which group they are in during the trial.

Listening too many that ibongaine has helped. Its 80% successful after a single treatment and 90% after 2. Its not something you have to repeat nor want to repeat as they say the physical nature of the experience is horrible and no one would ever take it recreationally.

What do you have to tell your doctor to get a prescription to Joe Rogans medicine?

everyone should try psychedelics at least once. It’s not going to hurt you, you’ll probably have a good time regardless, and it might change your life for the (much) better

If anyone is legit interested, go listen to the Theo Vonn episode with Bryan Hubbard. Very, very interesting and informative regarding ibogaine specifically.
