interesting story about why helen brett is still in the morial center...it is a public facility built with tax dollars so they have to be careful about restricting dates/access/etc. once the convention business started to boom and the big shows started booking years and years in advance, they tried to move helen brett off the the dates they had reserved and helen brett sued...
they finally worked something out where they can only book during distressed dates (like now) but it was a huge deal for a while as the helen brett dates were causing issues booking city-wides into the center
