Stay the hell away from them. This shite is awful and highly contagious (you don't have to eat or drink after someone infected with it, to get it yourself.

I haven't been this sick or barfed so much in a very, very long time.

I'm pretty sure I had this three weeks ago. I hardly ever get sick, but this thing tore through me for about three days.

I had that crap two years ago and again last March. Vomiting and peeing from the butt at the same time is horrendous and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Hope you heal very soon and I’ll say this, each time I had it I got better as soon as I started drinking Gatorade. Could be a coincidence but wouldn’t hurt to try.

Thanks. Checked on that, it's prescription only. My wife is a nurse at a big hospital, so she could probably get some for me if she wasn't sick too.

It's weird. I knew I was going to get it from my wife. The day before she had symptoms we shared some food so when she got sick with it, I knew. So I didn't eat shite all day yesterday, only had 8 - 10 ounces of water. So man I am dry heaving like mad all evening & all night but the weird thing is, I eventually would barf up water on that last few heaves every time. All told, far more than 8 - 10 ounces worth. Still trying to figure that shite out. I can hold water down now, but I'm having cramps in muscles I didn't know I had

I had COVID last week. Feel great without symptoms since Friday.

I am still testing positive. That might get me another few days off or remote work.

Can confirm. The one time I had it, my husband thought he was going to have to call the priest. The worst pain was before the vomiting even started and it hit fast. I was out running errands and within an hour. Boom. Then 2-3 hours of just intense pain. Vomiting was actually welcomed. Ugh. Feel better, OP.

I got the norovirus 2 years ago. Had to go to the ER because I was so dehydrated and couldn't keep fluids down. I weighed myself and had lost 10+ lbs. Vomited after every sip of water, and then every 15 min even after I quit trying to take anything. Just laid naked sprawled out on the bathroom floor for like 4 hours. I felt like I was going to lose consciousness. It took them forever to find one of my deflated veins with a needle. They tried both arms and 3 locations. The first lady felt like she was trying to expose a vein by scraping off the skin over it. The adrenaline from the nurse administered torture took the nausea away temporarily at least

I broke the sink in our half bathroom that way. I leaned against it in agony and the damn thing came off the wall. It was a bad day.

It has begun. Everyone is going to get it. Just accept that and move on.

I’ve found that listening to I’m Too Sexy while barfing makes the experience more amusing.

Keep two pedialytes per person in your pantry and down the shite 3 hours after you run out of fluids. Next day hangover is worse than the ride.

I cleaned my system pretty quickly, only a few hours of both ends but ran a fever and was absolutely worthless for 36 hours
