I work a block from this, and just walked across the street and didn't know about it until I read it here. I walked down there to see. I asked a buddy of mine who is a WAFB videographer. He said it's the "Poor People's Campaign" Mostly white liberals who are protesting the budget that the Governor vetoed, protesting the money the federal government spent in Israel instead of on the Gaza Strip, so basically just pissed off in general. He told me they had two streets blocked, 4th and North. When the cops showed up they put their hands behind their backs ready to be cuffed. 8 people arrested.
