Parents arrested after father sexually abuses daughter, forces her to live outside in tent, police say

quote:

The parents of a 12-year-old girl in Terrebonne Parish were arrested after investigators discovered she had been sexually abused by the father and was forced to live outside in a tent, coming indoors only to shower. Detectives were reportedly told that the child was kept outside for a week, and that she was only allowed inside to bathe before being sent back outside.

I get wanting to keep the 12 year old girls identity secret, but I really think these parents should be blasted. A quick search of the Terrebonne Parish inmate list revealed their disgusting white trash asses. But is it wrong to blast them?

Hopefully, the parents will get stiff sentences and that's enough for me. I hope the mother doesn't get custody of her if she had involvement which is how it looks. Never know, though, if the father was also a wife abuser.

Poor kid. Hope there are some decent family members to step up to the plate and care for her.

if I were the girl, I wouldn’t want an article popping up about my dad raping me every time someone googled my name.

I know, and I won’t post their names, but it’s so disgusting to look at mom’s Facebook page with the her motherly bullshite she was posting while making her daughter sleep outside. And she will probably get a slap on the wrist and then get out and get her kids back.

Seems improbable.

Not when you’ve seen the system fail victims of sexual assault repeatedly and how often offenders get off with probation and time served. She will claim she didn’t know, was threatened, or she was brainwashed - agree to go to counseling and complete a 10 step program and be able to get them back. Social workers have too many cases to keep up with - I’m sure CPS has heard of these assholes before.

I hope the mother is also charged. She had to know her daughter was forced to love outside.

Hopefully, the child tells the authorities what occurred. They will take it from there.

While I can't say how that parish is i know that in Jefferson parish it is almost impossible for the mother to not have some form of custody. I know that in my case if i lived pretty much anywhere else I would have full custody of my kid. My lawyer (and a friend i have who works in baton rouge with the city and custody matters) they said Louisiana as a whole is still behind the times when it comes to custody matters....

I get it but if you were a 12yr old would you want that your dad was raping you put all over the news?

All that needs to happen is to put him in gen-pop in prison, let a few inmates know why he's there and then late nature take its course.
