we might. I don't think so though. If you don't know anyone in industrial construction then we dont.

Post the IWC you like most and I'm sure there's a clone or similar watch we could point you to. Very few things in life are heirloom quality, but that would be one. $3k isn't bad if you love it.

I turned down a trade for an aquatimer to the same guy I am trading my UN to. The black and yellow didn't do it for me.

i have quite a few "proper watches" and the one that i most consistently get compliments on, wear on a regular basis, and feel most comfortable wearing:
a black and white, regular arse Timex from Targe that set me back an astounding $35….

Do you play golf at all?

That MPH window on top is crazy. You need a merchant marine (I know they're pilot watches, just saying) degree to use that thing.

yes, but usually only in tournaments for work, which isn't often enough. Haven't played sienna in ages.

yep… that fricker has gotten more "that's a nice watch" than at least 2 of my "nicer" watches….
i've come to realize that in the end, they all do the exact same, basic thing: tell time….. some have more bells and whistles, which may or may not get used by the wearer, but in the end the ultimate reason you bought whatever watch was to tell time….

Sorry I dont know how to post pics.
My favorite which looks nearly identical to my citizens
the watch that made me fall in love with iwc
I would get a strainless band on either, even though I know IWC watches are supposed to be matched to leather.

He lives on the corner. I helped him winter proof his sprinkler system the other day when I was finishing up a jog. Damn nice guy.
