That’s cool. Thanks. Except I’m young, fit, and incredibly healthy. My chances of dying from covid are a fraction of a fraction of a percent. And I don’t have to get injected with covid every year like the vaccine.
You get yours though, if that helps you sleep at night. No judgment from me.

The main issue with this is 0.588 mm deaths did not occur directly from contracting Covid. When you factor in other reasons the patients died Covid might've been 10th on the list. Ask anyone in a hospital setting and they'll confirm, the bullet wound had more to do with them dying than Covid.
If we had a true Covid death rate # the comparison would be much different.
Agreed that the # of "vaccine deaths" similarly with little information about the pt's health (and with the # being so small as reported) is miniscule.

Look at the downvotes for this completely reasonable post.
Shows you how some people have no critical thinking. Pretty amazing.

I don’t even know which side of the argument you’re, on but your challenges some real legends for the title of King Douche of TD right now.

I have no issue with vaccines. I'm simply weighing my individual risks and choosing to give the science as long as possible to develop. I'm also putting myself at the back of the line so other, higher risk individuals have ample supply. There's NOTHING unreasonable about this position, yet the covid fear mongers, political leftists, and karens simply can not accept individual choice that strays from their views.

Im on the side of freedom. Not having someone tell me what to do. Or try to mandate it.
Im not interested in someone telling me to get a vaccine.
I point out the vaccine is not FDA approved and people argue with me.
Its black and white. Its not approved. This is a fact and cant be argued.
Will it be approved? Probably. But right now it is not.
WHY DO VACCINES TAKE TIME TO GET FDA APPROVAL? ANYONE?
Funny, it seems like nobody wants to answer the question.
Someone want to take a shot and answer?

Why is timeframe for vaccine important?
Not really the "gotcha" you want it to be.
Under normal circumstances, trials are dragged out due to money/financing, logistics, bureaucratic red tape, and, of course, getting the number of study participants necessary to gather enough data to determine potential risks, what they are, and who they affect.
Guess what Covid presented us with? Pharmaceutical companies and entire nations around the world working together in a race to stop a pathogen of global interest. Money out the wazoo. Check. Logistics (normally handcuffed by item one, money) ironed out for materials, manufacturing, and distribution. Check. Government officials willing to let the medical professionals and researchers do their jobs without significant delays at every turn (because their constituents suffer if they don't do this). Check. Participants in sufficient numbers to produce a stockpile of data to study and analyze trends. Check.
In fact, all of the above dominoes falling have resulted in some of the most tested and well-reviewed pharmaceuticals the world has ever seen. Years and years worth of work done in a matter of months because funding was not at issue, nor were politics. And people were ready to line up and do their part participating in these studies by the tens of thousands for EACH manufacturer. You have any idea what a typical trial looks like in terms of participation? What has been accomplished is simply unprecedented.
It's really that simple.

You know why. So does everyone else.
Which is why its mind boggling how people can be criticized for not taking it and waiting till we have more info.
Especially those not at risk.

At one point last year, before the data transparency complete disappeared after the election, there were some 10's of thousands of true covid deaths in the CDCs data. The rest left over were "with covid" and other severe comorbidities. There were even 9000 accidental deaths being attributed to covid. The average age of a covid death was slightly older than the average age of an American dying for any reason.
The mortality rates are also drastically different by age group. People in my age group for example was less than 1/5th of 1% INCLUDING accidents and co-morbidities. People seem to conveniently forget this.
There have been reports of vaccine related deaths, covid contraction post-vaccine, blood clots, severe rashes, sickness, and most recently, heart issues in young people. A person in my risk profile waiting for the vaccine to be thoroughly vetted is FAR from unreasonable. Its about as reasonable as it gets.

What do you mean? I simply stated my position relative to the OP. I judge no one because everyone's risk calculation is different. I drove my own mother to get the vaccine months ago.
I just done appreciate the usual gaslighting that happens whenever someone says they are waiting.

Vaccine nazis in here will not like this perfectly reasonable explanation either.
Makes too much sense.

I have ZERO issue with your stance. Be well.
