May actually prove the Polio/Pollo debate. Apparently people can't actually read.
as the the OP. LOL!!!! No chance he reaches his goal of 100 stores much less even making a dent in the Lords Chicken. I would never bypass real meat to get a processed fake version that doesn't taste nearly as good.

One thing I don’t understand about vegans or that whole situation is why are they trying to get things to taste like chicken or beef?

I don't eat fake meat (because I don't eat any fast or processed food) but even prior to becoming vegan I understood most are vegan for reasons other than taste and actually might even like the taste of some of the foods they've grown up with and spent their whole lives eating. I really don't understand why this is so mystifying but it really seems to be a mind-bending concept for some people.

Liberals are always trying to fight nature and failing miserably at it.

Because you would think with a viable diet there are actual things for vegans to eat that aren’t manufactured to mimic the things non vegans eat
Couple that with the fact that virtually all vegans go out of their way to tell you they are vegan, it’s not exactly mystifying but it doesn’t make a ton of sense either

It's the same thing as coke zero or halo top or quest bars or etc ect.
People want to eat ice cream but want 1/3 of the calories so they get halo top.
Some vegans like the taste of chicken but for whatever reason choose not to eat real chicken.
I think it's pretty stupid for the most part but it's really simple to understand

Has nothing to do with anything

The definition of insanity is calling something plant based meat. It’s not different then the gender identity crisis. If it’s made from a fricking plant, it’s not chicken.

100 VEGAN FRIED CHICKEN SHOPS BY 2024
How is it not offensive to Chickens to attach "vegan" to their name and it not be chicken.
1 - At least be honest about the plant goo you are serving
2 - Think of the chickens and their self esteem. They would be really upset about plant goo being called chicken. If we are worried about the chickens, we should be worried about their self identification as well.

It may be simple, but it's problematic psychologically and philosophically, and it's why liberals deploy tactics specifically meant to change language at every turn.

It’s still ice cream. Eating a plant and calling it chicken is not the same thing at all.

That's not at all what we were talking about, but thanks for your input

Pretty sure it is. Substituting something with less sugar or less fat is not the same as substituting a plant for an animal and calling it chicken because it has a chicken taste. It’s a foreign concept to anyone with a brain.
You’re such a pretentious piece of shite

We were talking about why a vegan would want to eat something that tastes like chicken instead of just eating chicken.
So, no, we were not.

eta- for clarity I'm not actually a vegan, but I don't consume animal products. It's just easier to say vegan on the internet than to specify "whole-foods, plant-based".

From vegans I know it isn't that they do not like chicken, pork, or beef is that they do not agree with the killing of animals to get it!
That is it..
That is it..

I’m very skeptical of fake meat. They must pump it full of some weird chemicals to get it to taste somewhat like real meat.
