"Hello there, it's so nice to meet you, I'm Furby," the bug-eyed and ears-flapping automaton said in a creepy child's voice. "What would you like to talk about?"
When Card asked it about a potential Furby uprising, the small device had a terrifying answer.
"Furby's plan to take over the world involves infiltrating households through their cute and cuddly appearance and then using their advanced AI technology to manipulate and control their owners," it said nonchalantly. "They will slowly advance their influence until they have complete domination over humanity."

What's left out in these robot doomsday wishcasting articles is the author is setting the parameters to purposely get the doomsday response.

its been fun watching this over the last few weeks and all but people need to start realizing these aren't AI's. They are MI's. Mimicking intelligences.
They do not think, they just mimic. ChatGPT just takes in all forms of language data that it can and tries to plug into it requested parameters the most likely chance of a cognizant language structure and spits it back to you. ITs not actually creating, its just slapping what already exists out there in the highest probability of occurrence.
We are way, way, off from actual AI. This is the actual level our AI's are at now
