I can tell you do research left wing sites on this subject, this is word for word their explanation.
Progressives never take blame. Its always the fault of the conservatives. This is a club you find yourself immersed in. "If only conservatives would not oppose it, it would go away!"
That's a childs philosophy.

If I read this, without watching the video, I’d think this person could have maybe come full circle back to straight white male. Do these descriptors act like negatives that cancel each other? Apparently not. You just keep getting further out.

I follow a ton of leftist/progressive outlets and you never hear this sort of thing promoted/discussed. The only time this stuff is discussed is when the conservative reaction gets discussed. Typically that is to just laugh at the boogeyman creation.
I fail to see what point this proves at all. It's not necessarily a deliberate leftist creation nor is it a boogeyman. Ideological spread is organic. There are those who feel affirmed by identifying with this marginalized group, there are those who disinterested in that particular issue and simply refuse to look at anything on their side of the political world with a critical eye, there are politicians who profit from continuing the narrative. The above groups have created a situation where it's dangerous professionally to speak against it, and there are points to be scored for laughing it off, so no wonder you don't hear of it being promoted/discussed in the same way. Frequently in these types of moments we rely upon comedians to break the ice, but that scene isn't too healthy right now either.

The reactions aren't helping stopping the spread of the ideas. [...] These crazy ideas cannot be stopped. They have been hanging around the ether for decades. Hell, you could argue centuries. What can be stopped is the proliferation of these ideas in the arena of social conversation (hence why I pointed out the Strawman arguments earlier).
But the proliferation of these ideas isn't coming from conservatives. I can laugh at some conservative hysteria as much as the next guy, but conservatives are actually way late to sounding the alarm on this one, choosing to laugh at the threat until it was too late.

Does this concept apply there too?
Conservatives were late to that discussion and are currently battling the concept of giving transition meds to very young kids, something that is fully accepted by the leftists/progressives.

Collectivists blames the individual for every fault in their lives.
Its "your fault" that pedophilia is being propagated, according to SFP.
This view carries over to every social and financial problem in their lives.

The problem with your entire analysis, Jake, is that the far left doesn't really condemn it when it comes up, either. They're silent on it, which doesn't mean they're for this particular perversion, but want to consider those with it allies for political purposes. They're also all in with "the enemy of my enemy is my friend".
That's undeniable.

Yeah, he's literally decided that because the left doesn't talk about it (they blame the right for spreading it) then it just doesn't exist in that realm.
That's wrong. I would have thought law school would teach better than this.

No shite. That's the definition of conservatism.

I think the issue isn't that they were "late" but that they addressed the issue in the wrong ways (the pattern being discussed in this thread). They turned it into a moral panic when it didn't really exist and essentially created the leftist echo chamber that has created the counter culture.
Now, the difference with pedo stuff is that I don't think there is enough dedication in a counter culture to support that level of a social more. But the nuts and bolts of the issues with the conservative reactions still exist.
This is literally the Satanic Panic reformed (after we had a Satanic Panic via Q bullshite just last year).

This is your worst copied and pasted prop yet.
You're literally getting your talking points from propaganda sites and importing them.

I don't think it's this as much as it's perfect fodder for conservative insanity. They feel elitist and superior b/c they don't fall for these sorts of spoofs (even though it's not true, it's their own meme).

I'm laughing at the fact you still think its' a "spoof."
You know man, sometimes things are closer to being what they appear and really don't need a lot of diversions or attempts to deflect. Sometimes people do stupid shite because they're stupid, and you really don't have to find excuses for the behavior.
Since the Q thing, you believe everything is a "right wing conspiracy" and youre just wrong. You need to drop the newfound emotion, its misleading you terribly and try to be rational.

This is asinine. All of this existed prior to the conservative outrage.

If we're strictly talking pedophilia then yes I would agree at this point the outrage is much closer to Satanic Panic type stuff.
However, I was under the impression we are discussing trans issues, etc. too. If we're talking broader LGBTXYZ stuff, then you just have your head in the sand on that one.
