Honestly this crap and AAVE are making us dumber when the Asians and Europeans are more studious. This will lead to a major brain drain in the US.

This is a math professor at Vanderbilt. This is where academia is now. These are the people educating young adults.

Some more on Dr Leyva:

- He has been distinguished with awards from the American Educational Research Association and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

- His work draws on critical race theory, women of color feminisms, and queer of color critique

- He’s the director of PRISM (Power, Resistance, Identity, in SteM Education)

- The professor teaches courses titled “Power and Identity,” “Diversity and Equity in Education,” and “Mathematics for Elementary Teachers”

- He has ZERO experience teaching in a K12 math classroom

- He went straight from undergrad to masters to doctorate
