It's not just that, though it obviously doesn't help. A lot of them make this choice when they're very young and don't comprehend the finality of it and the long term consequences. Then realize when it's too late that there's no going back. This stuff is gruesome too. Seriously, read about dialating and some of the other stuff they have to do. That's why so many on here are mad at the parents. Parents aren't having an honest discussion with their kid about what they're doing and the consequences.

I find it absolutely disgusting and disturbing that the same people who bashed TI for wanting his daughter to stay a virgin til marriage, are celebrating this mentally ill family as if they’ve done something great
