Wake up feeling like someone shoved a softball up your a-hole. Feels like you need to shite too, but can't. The weird thing is I cannot piss when this is going on. Subsides after a few minutes and feel normal again.
This is almost my exact same experience. Miserable for about 20 minutes. Very strange

Had it off and on for years. Hurts like shite. No treatment, no cure. Try sitting on a baseball or lacrosse ball when it happens.

Was diagnosed with it a few years ago. Will wake me up out of a dead sleep every few months. Most intense pain I have ever felt. Will last about 30 minutes where it will make you want to puke, then will go away and you will feel completely normal. Hot showers will sometimes help, but mostly you just have to wait it out.
