While not in La, we are combined 210K with $30/month medical, 1 car note, and 2 kids public school. We have a good bit left over after bills every month and feel solidly in the middle to upper middle. Not really wanting for anything more, so people can definitely make it work at that price.

If you get to campus early enough, there are plenty places to park. We park on the grass right by our tailgate. There is also a parking lot right across from us that usually doesn’t fill up until noon.
Was diagnosed with it a few years ago. Will wake me up out of a dead sleep every few months. Most intense pain I have ever felt. Will last about 30 minutes where it will make you want to puke, then will go away and you will feel completely normal. Hot showers will sometimes help, but mostly you just have to wait it out.

My wife is a progressive liberal, while I am a Trump supporting conservative. Leads to interesting debates in the home. She doesn’t like Biden, either, so will probably vote Libertarian.

I have lived in Gainesville for over 10 years and always wear my LSU stuff for the game. Never had a problem once at our tailgate. Don't act a fool and you will be fine.
Also, for everyone saying how bad Gainesville is, I have lived in both Baton Rouge and Gainesville for a good amount of time in each place. Gainesville >>>> Baton Rouge.
