Im not sure I would connect the dots, tell her we dont want you playing the name of the show. Period. I personally think it is benign, hell kids survived teletubbies and Barney and all other weird shite, but they are your kids and she is your employee.

Experts suspect that babies younger than two years old view TV as a confusing array of colors, images, and noises. They don't understand much of the content. Since the average TV scene lasts five to eight seconds, your baby or toddler doesn't have enough time to digest what's happening.

Grow nuts and deal with it. Either way move on from her because she is not doing waht ulyou requested or turn a blind eye the ball is in your court.

I had a cleaning lady for about a year once a week and then here cleaning went to shite. My wife hired her so I told the wife something to get on her arse , she did the next time she came she did great problem solved.... nah time after that it went back to crap. I got rid of her.
You give people the opportunity to change if they do not you change their surroundings.

The rules for our Au Pair is to not even have her phone on her while she is with our boys. The idea of her ever pulling out a laptop or turning on a TV hasn't even been discussed since she knows that would never been an option.

If the OP is true, it's fricking hilarious that she won't stop watching this insane video

We have the feeling she might even be deleting it from the youtube history but we can see her playing the video on the inside house cameras.

Well it is the tv in the living room/ and their room (which is honestly never on outside of sometimes white noise).

Again the monkey on the elevator isnt the issue, they actually go over numbers. The monkey is fine on the elevator.

It is mainly the monkey videos where it is grocery shopping for junk food and toys.

as someone who has a babysitty and also has 2 very energetic young boys, why is she allowed to turn the TV on? what are you paying her for exactly?

find a better baby sitter or don't complain.

eta: i'm not sure you actually have children, your T seems waaaay too low for a straight man.

They get some screen time when trying to calm down at night or during the day for naps.

again, you're doing it wrong.

tell them to go play by themselves quietly. blocks, cars, leggos, lincoln logs, etc.

don't sit them down in front of a screen.

they do a ton of that, but hard to separate twins. they are up each other's arse.

screen time gets them calm before bed, but do agree not the best habit.

Look I'm fully aware OP is trolling and is a massive faygot.

However, those types of videos are straight-up visual cancer. I wouldn't let my dog watch that garbage.

Let me get this straight, it’s your child’s sitter that you hired and I would assume pay.

And you do not know how to get this sitter to follow the rule you put in place for the job you hired her for?

So you come to the OT to seek advice?

Lawd.
