It is difficult to find someone trustworthy to watch twin toddlers that adheres to our weird split work schedule.

So in that sense, she is perfect. But yes agree.

We have a problem.

I mean do you have a contract or is she in a babysitters union or something… simple solution is to just fire her

I believe they do have something akin to a union now

why? seems harmless. Would you rather them watch the woke cartoons with drag shows?

It's brainrot, essentially. There's a lot of educational content for children, and 99% of it doesn't have drag queens.

How???… who would let control of who their babysitter is be determined by tenure and a bunch of other stuff that comes with unions

Yeah baby Einstein was solid and not miserable to have on

There are some other slow paced shows that aren't terrible. Puffin Rock stuff like that.

not saying it's a union per say but there are work rules in play and there is some sort of organization monitoring this, just had a friend in from out of town that has a nanny/au pair for his kids, and he was telling me about this, the rules are relatively strict, I was a little surprised but this was in the DC area, maybe it's a local thing but most of these people are here on some sort of temporary visa so I'm guessing it's probably nationwide

Have you ever been around kids who get fed a steady diet of Ryan?

So you have talked to your sitter and she is just ignoring your direction? Or have you not talked with her? If not, it is a you problem. If she refuses to do as she is asked, it is a her problem.

The monkey video has a lot, animals, colors, shapes. I see why the kids would dig it.

I personally think you are overreacting but it's your kids. Fire her and find another absolutely perfect babysitter. Good Luck.

We have sent little messages like "no more monkeys"

As an example.
