People have no idea how corrupt juvenile justice is across the country. You usually don't even get any real time for car thefts. Probation and a date with a judge. Murder or manslaughter is a little more serious, but it is a rare case where someone gets sentenced to adult time, especially under 16 years of age.
Those girls are going to get written up for violations hundreds of times during their juvenile tenure, as well. Won't make any difference. They'll get out "on time" and proceed to a life of crime within a month.

It’d be a lot more just if they were crying their eyeballs out when they got sentenced cause it finally sinks in that their remaining minutes of their lives would be in front of the firing squad.

So, it seems the message is impossible to miss here. The life of Mr. Anwar is absurdly of less value to the lives of two car jacking murderers. Innocent civilian doing his job, of no importance whatsoever. Two teenage murderers however are the future, and we can’t deny them their right to live out their lives.

I just don’t understand why anyone with the means would not live in a high end suburb or rural area of the US. This is only going to get worse, it’s only going to entice this behavior with no repercussions. Get away from it.
