I, of course, don't have all the answers. The answer for one business will be different for the next.

But it's certainly not as simple as you want to make it out to be. You can become more efficient in other processes outside of labor, make capital investments that over the long run increase the efficiency of your labor, or raise your revenue on lower margins just as a couple of examples.

If it were as simple as raising prices with wages you would have seen price increases over the last 8 or so years that don't exist

Some options could be, simply decreasing headcount. That could be an option for someone depending on their current model. They could do what some chains have done and install the order from your table machines.

It all goes back to the democrats overreaction to the China virus as a way to get trump out of office. Without the ridiculous over reaction from democrats cities none of this would have happened

I didn't insult you, I insulted your opinion, which I think is at best misguided, but more likely willfully ignorant.

You not being able to handle dissentian to your opinion and taking it personally is a you problem.

I think its hilarious that you tout trying to pass garbage as a good thing

I never once said it was a good thing. I used the example to show that one party at least gives the impression they're trying to pass legislation, while the other doesn't even do that. I even put in my post that you cut off in the quote that a lot of those bills were DOA in the Senate, for various reasons.

quote:

to act like the left hasnt gone off the rails the last few years is laughable

There certainly is no shortage of examples of derangement from members of the left, but the right has completely turned over control of their party to a reality TV star that speaks on a 7th grade level, and demands fealty to that person. Let's not pretend they haven't gone off the rails as well.

You ever think that maybe they just think there is already more than enough legislation?

Straight ticket hardheads love to label. It's a lazy method used to justify not taking responsibility for voting for anything other than their, well, label.

At this point, it's better if both parties just stop trying to do things.

Why does the left try to paint Trump as like he was discovered on reality TV? The guy has been in the limelight my entire life as a business man and real estate developer. He was lauded by the left until about 2015. Now it's full on assault.

Conservatism is just progressivism driving the speed limit.

Josh Hawley's 2040 presidential campaign will revolve around lowering UBI to $3,000 a month.
