I agree and I'm allowed to tell them their opinion is totally misguided.

So are we allowed to conversate or not?

Right, why do you think that. What data have you consumed to formulate that opinion? A bunch of shift workers repeating it on a website?

I would think it's safe to say Baton Rouge and New Orleans can be reflective of what's going on across the country.

Why are you in here?

You don't work in the restaurant industry either. You do taxes in a cubicle.

You have issues bro. I think that you have an overly inflated sense of self worth. You should work on that

While I'm sure that is happening, what me and the other poster are wondering is at what level it is happening

You've already decided that restaurant mgrs are making shite up

Your bias is the only thing you require to make decisions. You are 180 degrees on this issue.

Baton Rouge is mid sized city and New Orleans is very unique in its economics. Neither align with US demographics in really any sense, so I'm not sure why you'd say that.

In fact, it really makes no sense.

Historically speaking gold should have exploded. It is up a meager 6ish%.

Probably because crypto is a hotter investment atm.

I know what I don't know, but I do ask questions.

You and people like you decide what you think and put your head up your arse so you can't hear any different.

The outgoing admin has measures in place the incoming admin "fixes". This creates the illusion one side is more caring or advantageous than the predecessor.

This highlights another huge hypocrisy that is on display today. The Executive Order. Our country's/government's reliance on the EO has done nothing more than create a soft tyranny that changes with the whims of the people. We have allowed the use and practice to grow unchecked over the past several administrations. That's all good as long as your "side" is in power and is the one signing the EOs. When the other side gets their chance, you can't kick and scream when the same practice continues.

The over reliance on Executive Orders has effectively removed the Legislative branch of our government. We basically have 500+ people doing frick all because all that really matters is what their guy will implement via Executive Order. Everything a prior administration did can be undone with a few strokes of the pen. Stop it. Remove that power from the Executive Branch, or at least curtail back to its original intent, and force our government to do their fricking job and legislate.

Three things that would go a long way in fixing this country:
- Curtail the use of the EO
- Implement term limits
- Squash the identity politics bullshite

That's all a pipe dream, though.

I haven't decided that at all, but I'm glad you're here now to tell everyone what they actually think. Not sure what any of us would do without you.

Does it? What percentage is DL to total price? A rise in one input is not linear to price of your product.
