Let`s face it, this conversation is possible because the U.S. military has no true rival, if the Soviet Union still existed in it`s formidable state, including women in combat positions would not be on the table and there s simply no need for it considering the number of potential men of military age that can be called upon if needed.

What worries me is the chances that those women would be more likely to be captured. Don't pretend there wouldn't be more pressure than with men to rescue them putting more troops in danger. More likely though I can see us more often negotiating to get them back which means giving up something and we saw how with bergdahl we gave up serious terrorists.

If she's a physical liability to herself then she's a liability to everyone in the unit. It's just about her life it's about the other soldier's lives also.

It the upper body strength that is the issue. If I remember right the state of Mississippi has never had a female firefighter. Why? They can't pass the upper body test. Which is to carry a 170 pound dummy 200 yards or something like that. Also doesn't help the women that came closes said her whole goal was to get sexually harassed then sue the department.

I have no problem with beastly women in combat. I do have a problem with basic bitches in combat.

Brianne of Tarth should be the standard by which WM's are evaluated.

Yeah, I wondered about that. I don't know if it's legit or not. I posted this on behalf of a bff.

I would assume that the physical aspect of it changes the men mentally. If it's too easy, they might end up being insubordinate pussies

FYI, the USSR famously had several thousand female snipers during WW2, some among the very best.

PC should never compromise the ability of our soldiers' needed requirements. What's so flipping wrong with being different anyway?!

The Russians had women in a combat role in a small proportion to their total force and many women in support roles because they were getting invaded and massacred. Soviet propaganda films made some hay out of it. Today you can find Russian women in combat units as non combat specialists, they wear a lot of lipstick, high heels in the field and the officers get first dibs.
